Join Community Church of DeBary in making a meaningful difference in the lives of foster children through our Backpacks of Hope initiative. This special outreach provides personalized backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help children start the school year with confidence and dignity.
Through our partnership with Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health (Devereux Behavioral Center), we receive the names and specific needs of foster children in West Volusia County. Each backpack is thoughtfully prepared according to the child’s school grade and individual requirements, ensuring they are equipped for success from day one.
Your financial contribution allows us to purchase high-quality supplies tailored to each student—transforming generosity into opportunity. More than just notebooks and pencils, these backpacks deliver encouragement, stability, and hope to children navigating challenging circumstances.
